Las Vegas was founded in 1905, after the opening of a railroad that linked Salt Lake City with Los Angeles.

The Bay of Fundy has phenomenal tides, highest in the world (48 feet) rising and falling twice a day with dramatic views from Hopewell Rocks Provincal Park.

The event, the largest art parade in the United States, has no ethnic, religious or commercial associations and includes marching bands, antique cars and floats, along with the scantily-clad aquatic oddities.
