A 1471 Moroccan Kasbah - Kasbah of Chefchaouen
The Kasbah was built in 1471 by Rachid Ben Ali to protect the city of Chefchaouen. Today, the building houses the ethnological museum and an interior garden with fountains and patios. The museum opened in 1985, but prior to that it was restored several times and served as a residence for the Governor, a military arsenal and a prison.
This is what caught my eye; I hope you enjoy!
