A City Built On 14 Islands - Stockholm, Sweden

Stockholm strikes a rare balance between cosmopolitan and cozy. It’s a capital without the chaos — expect clean air, serene water views, vibrant art, cobbled streets, striking architecture, quiet public transport, and a deep-rooted love of nature. And of course, there’s fika — the cherished Swedish coffee break that’s as much about slowing down as it is about coffee and pastries.

The city is a calm, culturally rich with a seamless blend of Nordic charm, modern design, royal history, and island-hopping adventure. Spread across fourteen islands and linked by fifty-seven bridges, it’s no wonder this waterfront capital is often called the “Venice of the North.”

This is what caught my eye - I hope you enjoy!
