A Hilltop Village With An Artistic Legacy - Saint-Paul-de-Vence
Saint-Paul-de-Vence is a storybook village perched on a hilltop in the French Riviera — a place that feels suspended in time yet alive with art and culture. For decades, it has been a haven for artists; among its famous residents and visitors are Marc Chagall (who rests in the village cemetery), Henri Matisse, Pablo Picasso, and Yves Montand. Romantic and inspiring, Saint-Paul-de-Vence invites you to wander its cobbled lanes, linger in its galleries, or sit at a cafe and watch the world drift by. Despite its popularity, the village still moves to its own gentle rhythm — where locals work, chat, and play beneath the Provencal sun.
