A French Seaside Villa & Garden - Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild

Baroness Beatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild created this seaside oasis in the early 1900s, pouring her fortune and imagination into every detail. A traveler, collector, and woman who loved art as much as she loved theater, Beatrice built the villa as a stage for beauty in all its forms — and it shows.

Overlooking the Mediterranean between Nice and Monaco, the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild rises like a pastel dream above the turquoise bays of Cap Ferrat. This magnificent pink palace is surrounded by nine themed gardens — French, Spanish, Florentine, stone, Japanese, exotic, Provencal, and rose — each one a world of its own, designed to delight and surprise at every turn.

A visit here isn’t just about admiring an opulent estate; it’s about stepping into the daydream of a woman who refused to live without beauty. From the delicate porcelain collections and grand salons inside to the perfectly choreographed fountains and floral tapestries outside, every corner of the villa feels touched by Beatrice’s whimsical, elegant spirit.

This is what caught my eye - I hope you enjoy!
