Squeezed Into The Sharp End Of A Narrow Valley - Fontaine de Vauclose, France
Tucked deep in a quiet valley of Provence lies Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, a village that feels like you walked into a watercolor painting. Fontaine-de-Vaucluse takes its name from the incredible spring (“fontaine”) that gushes from a cave at the base of the rocks. Surrounded by steep limestone cliffs and lush greenery, this alluring spot is best known for its remarkable natural spring — the Source de la Sorgue — one of the deepest and most powerful in the world.
Whether you’re a nature lover, history buff, or someone who just wants to slow down and soak in the Provencal charm, this little village captures the soul of southern France.
This is what caught my eye - I hope you enjoy!
